Many of you that know me, know that I love anything that Google does. If Google pooped on my porch, I would probably play with it, because that poop will probably surf the Wide World Internets, browse porn, store my documents, and organize my life via calendar. Did I just say porn out loud?
If you have not checked out Google Chrome, yet, please do. It is neat. It’s probably the fastest loading browser I have ever used, and I have used them all. When you click the shortcut (I use quick links, because I hate icons, and the start menu) the browser opens instantly, and shows you the 9 most visited pages. Watch out if you are a porn freak, because your start page will be loaded with porn sites. Whether that is a good or bad thing is up to you. If you don’t want your “browsing habits” to be know by anyone that opens your Google Chrome, then simply change it to incognito mode. This stores no browsing history or data what-so-ever. Secretly sexually frustrated husbands everywhere are rejoicing!
They have nearly eliminated the “chrome” around the browser window. You can barely make it out, and it feels like you are running a non-windowed application. The only beef I have so far is the lack of RSS bookmarks. Firefox has the ability to put RSS links into the Bookmarks Toolbar, and I can peruse my favorite news feeds quickly. I guess Google just wants people to use Google Reader…I will not argue. News is just one of those things that you don’t often search for, because if you knew about it would not be news, now would it? Maybe I am just silly.
Chrome is the new Firefox.

Hello 6th grade!
I played the first 3 games in this series, all the way through, when I was in grade school. My cousin turned me on to the first one, “So you want to be a hero”, and when the second one came out, I begged my parents to get it for me. “Trial by Fire” was by far the best in the series. he fighting was cooler, and the game was larger, with a better storyline. The third “Quest for Glory” took a turn toward more talking and less game. You did a lot of walking and even more talking. I finished it, of course, but lost interest in the series after that. I bought the fourth QFG years later, and never really played it much. The fifth, and final game…I never touched it.
I had heard that AGD Interactive was working on this game, but missed the boat a bit on the release. Oh well..I have it now and am about to install it. I just wish I could import my old characters. I KNEW I should have saved those 3.5″ disks!
