Not only do I want one of these, I need one. Like the desert needs the rain, but then it wouldn’t be a desert if it rained all the time, now would it?
In other news: I killed Diablo last night. Targ, the barbarian, slew Diablo, but not without being slain himself at least 30-some times. That chain lightning and napalm death stuff really sucks when Diablo throws it at you. Not even Yer Mom can stand up to that shizzle. I forgot how hard the Lord of Destruction expansion is. There are too many magic wielding mobs, and without massive amounts of elemental resistances you are SCREWED. Screwed like the desert with no rain…

Not 4 video cards…just one.
- Make: BFG
- Geforce 7800 GS OC
- $300
- Slightly used
- Reason for selling: Bought it to play new games, but all new games pale in comparison to Diablo 2, and Diablo 2 will run just fine on a $7 video card.

My wife and I were over at the neighbor’s house yesterday, after the idiotic Packer game was over. We had some drinks and laughs, more laughs than drinks for me because I was on call for work. The subject of TV shows on DVD came up between his wife and I. She had the first 5 seasons of Alias on DVD, in the house. I have always wanted to see this show. Watching anything on TV, other than reruns of sitcoms, any Star Trek, any cartoon, Grey’s Anatomy, or Disturbing Housewives, is completely beneath me. ;-) I also have issues watching “live” TV, nowadays. I even jump at the chance to pause a football game, just so I can have the pleasure of skipping over the next few comercials. I was actually just starting the 4th quarter, in MY time, when they juvenile Packers lost the game. I don’t mean juvenile in a derogatory manner…they are just young…go-to-jail-young like all the hot 17 year old girls of the world. Back to my TV discussion… My latest passion has been watching TV shows that I always wanted to watch, but never bothered to care enough to make the time, on DVD. Comercial free. I can watch them in bed, at night, before I go sleepy-bye.
In the last couple years I have watched the equivalent of 20 years of television. All 7 seasons of Star Trek: TNG, season 1 of Hercules: TLJ, 8 seasons of Stargate SG-1, 33 Thundercats episodes, 3 seasons of The Dead Zone, and probably others that I can’t remember right now. All that in the couple hours of each night before I lay me down to sleep. This has seriously cut into my reading time. Reading may be fundamental, but when it comes to TV on DVD, resistance is futile.
What is this relating to? Well, I was never really interested in Alias, when it was on TV, nor did I ever think of buying the DVDs. They were offered to me to watch, for free, by a friend…a HOT friend…and I could not say no. Now we come to another passtime of mine, hot women. The admiration part, not really the “doing” part. I’m just a sucker for the hotties. She could have asked me to pop a zit on her back, and I would have done it…
